St. Moritz Art Masters 2011: Successful Event

The 4th edition of the St. Moritz Art Masters closed its doors after 10 successful days on September 4, 2011. St. Moritz Art Masters has been once again the meeting point for the national and international art scene.
Renowned artists and photographers have been on-site and presented their oeuvres personally to the numerous and interested visitors and art lovers. John Armleder showed his light installations in the old gym of the schoolhouse in St.Moritz. Jonathan Meese placed his sculptures at different places in the Engadin. The artist talks with Sarah Morris, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Jonathan Meese have attracted many participants. The photo exhibition curated by Amedeo M.Turello was one of the highlights with works from photographers legends like William Klein, Steve McCurry and Greg Gorman.
The St. Moritz Art Masters Foundation Night marked the successful ending of SAM 2011. The foundation enabled two Swiss artists to participate at the international project 'Lingua Franca – A Public Intervention'. For 2012 the St. Moritz Art Masters Foundation will again launch an open call for the Blackbox competition. Information will be available on the website www.stmoritzartmasters.com beginning of 2012.
The planning for the next St. Moritz Art Masters has already begun. Next year St. Moritz Art Masters will celebrate the 5th year and one can be sure that some special events and highlights are planned. Therefore:
