Erzhaus "Speichelchen", 1000 Leckerlis De Mees' des Mädchentraumatmosoz (Niedergang des Hauses "Ungehorsam")
In St. Moritz Jonathan Meese presents his sculpture “DIE HUMPTYDUMPTY- MASCHINE DER TOTALEN ZUKUNFT“ (“The Humpty-Dumpty- Machine of the total future“) from 2009. He describes this fantasy vehicle as “free from human ideology, from human power, from religion, unbribable, precise and without FAULT. For fuel the metabolism machine needs only future, love, respect, neutrality and ore, which means art. The total baby machine is the sickly sweet escort of the art of ore. The BABY-SPACESHIP Humpty-Dumpty flies without rear view mirror, without roof railing and without nostalgia only forwards, great, great, great.”
Besides that large-scaled outdoor sculpture Meese shows further works in Chesa Planta, among them a group of sculptures from the year 2011. The three female figures are characterised by a hard and sharpedged execution which is new in Meese’s work. They are inspired by Allan Jones’ interior design for the Korova Milk Bar in the film A Clockwork Orange.
