„After breaking many, he selected one that looked like a four-legged animal. He smashed three legs; then he took the last leg and placed it a yard away from the now-dismembered body. He abruptly stopped, handed me the hammer, and withdrew calmly and contentedly.“ Julian Schnabel.

He was just five years old when he first met Julian Schnabel during a visit to his open-air studio in Amagansett, New York. Sharing their shards of artistic understanding, Julian Schnabel and Vahakn Arslanian have developed a special way of communicating with each other.

St. Moritz Art Masters will be presenting a group of Vahakn Arslanian‘s drawings set into discarded airplane window frames at the French Church.
